This coming weekend is going to a hard but exciting time for my family and I. sunday is the 2nd annual BAM. last year i was not able to go because i was in california and couldnt get away from classes.
though i think about Brian daily, i think this will be harder then that because this event is in memory of him, on one of his favorite days of the year, super bowl sunday.
Brian died over a year ago and it still shocks me that he is truly gone, visiting the grave is nothing like what i thought it would be. i havent cried while visiting him the last couple times, it hasnt scared me as much as it did before. leaving him on the other hand has been really hard, on his 16th birthday michelle and i left him cupcakes, i wish he could have tasted those that day.
another reason this weekend is going to be so exciting is that my parents are flying in from cali for the event, which in itself is going to be a blast, but they also get to meet el boyfriend for the first time, and that scares the crap out of me.
he is a good guy though so he should pass all of their questions.
overall i think this weekend will once again show how many people really care about Bri and the family, its a time for everyone to come together and just remember the beautiful person as a whole. i am sure it will be hard on Stan and Brenda, also brooke, but we are all going to be there and we have to stick together as a family during these things because some people just dont get that hearing the same statements gets old and even harder to hear "he was a great kid""perfect""loved his smile"
we all know he was perfect with a great smile and a caring heart.

comp expectaions
I expect that through this course i learn how to write better papers, to have the opurtunity to meet new people, and be able to have a person to person relationship with the instructor and not just be a number in the grade book.
Iexpect the instructor to be willing and able to listen to each of his students needs, to be able to answer questions they might have, if he doesnt know the answer right away, he finds the answer or directs the student to where they could find the answer.
I personally expect to get at least a B in the class, the only part that i am worried about in the class this far is the amount of reading that is assigned. I find myself spending all of my time reading for this class and already getting behind in other classes just to finish the readings.
All in all i think this course is going to be helpful, i just need to stay on top of everything.

first blog :)
hola!
my name is Sara, nothing to exciting about the name. my name was going to be Keeley however my grandma could not prononuce it and refused to let me be named that.
I am an identical twin, her name is Michelle and is also 3 inches taller then me, we dont look alike at all but the doctors insist that we are identical.
i was born in St. Paul MN, grew up all over the place, moving nine times thus far in my life, and one of those moves was to the beautiful state of California, which i graduated high school from.
Going to Cali was one of the best experiences that i will ever go through, moving the summer before my junior year helpped me realize who was really going to stick with me as friends and the people that mattered most. California was also the place i found a desire to help people who have given their lives to drugs, alcohol included. my major here is drug and alcohol studies and i couldnt be more excited. i aslo am going to school to be a fire tech (fire fighter) where i might take it as a volenteer later in life. i have always had the desire to help out in anyways and i love a dangerous situation.
i have worked hard to get here, 2 jobs since the age of 15 to pay for a car, gas, spending money, clothes and college. i believe i am doing an amazing job making the dollar go far.
my dreams in life are to go to Bolivia and see the jungles and beaches. i aslo would love to skydive, which i plan on doing over the summer if the job provides me with the money.
this is just a tid bit of who i am, i like to think i live an extraordinary life and because of that, i make each day a blast.
